  Invictus Australia, licensed by the Invictus Games Foundation, is owned and run by the Australian International Military Games, and responsible for organising the Invictus Games Sydney 2018. Our mission is to continue the legacy of the Games by promoting the participation of all veterans and their families in local sporting communities, particularly those who are considered "at risk". As a registered charity that operates on a not-for-profit basis, we rely on the generosity of the government, corporate entities, and the public for support. We strive to raise awareness of the physical, social, and emotional benefits of sports and to address the unique challenges faced by younger veterans as they transition from military to civilian life.
